Reflection: In building this Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) Workshop I was presented with many educational challenges. Mainly when developing learning experiences online, how do teachers engage students to contribute their thoughts in multiple modalities and ensure that the activity is successful. This design was following principles of contrucivism, that is that students and people construct knowledge thorough learning and doing. This presents a difficult design challenge, the course needs to be open enough to allow students to produce individual pieces of work, yet be closed enough that the instructions are clear. In this design, I tried to achieve constructivism in town ways. One by providing a comment forum at the end of every page so that students could comment and be encouraged to ask for help. Two, I allowed them to share their information inside ( ) that allows them to bring in content from anywhere on the net.
